Channelopathy 2018 Provisional Program – Nov. ’17

Dear colleagues, dear ion channel aficionados,

We would like to inform you about the next international Channelopathy conference to be held June 24-26, 2018 in Chicago on the campus of the Feinberg School of Medicine.
This conference follows a similarly themed meeting held two years ago in Paris (, and we are aiming to promote a tradition of a biennial event. Further, the 2018 conference will mark the 20th anniversary of the first international conference on channelopathies, which was organized by the late Steve Hebert and Al George. We anticipate between 150-180 conference attendees.
The planned session themes for this 2 and half day conference include Genetic Complexity, Autoimmune Channelopathies, Technological Advances, Structure-based Drug Design, Non-canonical Functions of Ion Channels, Ion Channels in Cancer and New Channelopathies. The conference intends to provide a broad platform for sharing new ideas across the entire spectrum of channelopathies.

Please have a look a the preliminary program with outstanding international speakers! The registration website will be open very soon and we will give you more information in due time!

On behalf of the organization committee, we are looking forward to seeing you in Chicago in June 2018!
